Reflex Cricket was started in 2020 as a lockdown project and has progressed into the business it is today. The aim was to design (and now produce) exciting, innovative and versatile cricket coaching products, the first of which is The Deflector.

As an ECB level 3 coach with a degree in Design, the idea stemmed from running hundreds of fielding sessions over the past 10 years and continually looking for ways to challenge player's performance as well as keeping sessions as fun and interesting as possible.

Having access to coaching equipment as well as being a little more creative (from using a groundman's roller, to the benches and furniture in a sports hall) the idea came about to produce a multi-use product which could be adapted to fit a variety of sessions whilst producing realistic catches and deflections. It also had to be easy to take from session to session, and be able to be used both indoors and outdoors. We're confident we've achieved this and you'll enjoy using the product however we are always looking for ways to improve.
